This is a small, browser-only project, and messages are genuinely read. The most useful reports are specific: the tool you used, the file type and size, your browser and version, and what happened instead of what you expected.

Reporting a problem

Tell us which tool you were using — the page address is the fastest way. Include the format and approximate size of the file, your browser and operating system, and the exact wording of any error message shown. If a conversion produced the wrong output, saying what you expected and what you got is far more useful than a general description.

Browser limitations

Some things are genuinely impossible in a browser and are documented as such on the relevant pages: identifying a font from an image, converting TrueType outlines to PostScript ones, producing WOFF2, extracting subtitle tracks from a video container, and reading a video's frame rate. If a tool refuses to do one of those things, that is a deliberate design decision rather than a bug.

Feature requests

Requests that fit the architecture — a new output format for an existing converter, an additional calculator, another platform preset for cover art — are the easiest to act on. Requests that need a server, such as hosting a font fingerprint database, cannot be accommodated without changing the fundamental privacy design of the site.

Advertising and licensing

The site carries display advertising through standard networks. For anything relating to advertising, partnerships or reuse of the text and tools, please get in touch before republishing content elsewhere.

Response times

There is no support desk and no ticket system, so replies take as long as they take — usually a few days for a considered answer. Bug reports that include a reproduction case are always dealt with first.
